About I've been writing for as long as I can remember. In 2005, I decided that I wanted to write publicly about the random day to day things that went through my head. I still want to do that. Back then, I tried to be funny, or ultra intelligent. Now, I write in a much more serious tone about real things that are happening to me- no fluff, no lies, very few exaggerations*. My greatest desire, above all else, is to travel to as many countries as I possibly can, shedding light on humanitarian issues and promoting Human Rights. I try to stay educated in the political and social issues that don't seem to make the news as often as they should, so this website is going to have a lot of related links and such, so that others can be informed as well. When I was younger I was inspired to speak my mind and to express my feelings by two teachers who I respect above all others. They both worked with me when I was still discovering this entire world of the written word, and encouraged me to explore political and environmental issues in my work. Besides writing, I enjoy taking photos, making jewelry, painting origami cranes, making handbags, reading, and listening to music. I have a possibly dangerous addiction to caffeine, and I spend quite a bit of time in cafes reading computer geek magazines with my friends.
